Two participants from YMCA Bitola were present in the activities of the program for the celebration and the national meeting of YMCA Bulgaria with partner organizations. Within the program there were various activities that marked the 20th anniversary. There was a formal reception provided for the partners, an exhibition of works by child artists, social activities on the city square, a concert with the most popular local youth groups and a rich program with folklore, dancing and rock 'n' roll. It was a great addition to the celebration of volunteers, staff, children, parents, and all others who have seen some benefit from the YMCA.
This event was the result of common decision for cooperation between the YMCA Regions, which was made at the Balkan Leadership Training No.5 in Ohrid, Macedonia in 2009. The Interregional Program Fair was designed as the exchange of the best experiences within the YMCA program “Healthy Life.” Around 280 participants from 20 countries took part in the Interregional Program Fair.

The camp was organized by Peace Corps Macedonia, West Kent YMCA from England and YMCA Bitola and it took place at the Mountain club "Tajmiste" - Macedonia in July 2011. This was the third camp organized in Macedonia, focusing mainly on leadership skills and personal development.

On 12th March 2011 in Bitola the Third Parkour Gathering was held. The event took place at the ruins of the old restaurant at Tumbe Kafe. It was organized by YMCA Bitola and Together Macedonia, supported by Bure pizza bar. Participants: Urban Movement, Beyond Parkour Skopje, Urban Street Climbers, New Generation Parkour, Try2Fly, Blagoja Stefanovski and a few more not mentioned here, but who made the event possible. Young people in Macedonia also has the opportunity to participate in the first camp program financed by the US Government since 1959 which target around 800 camps around U. S. A.

From the 14-25 August 2010 the 7th Annual Balkan YMCA Camp was held, which for the first time occurred at the Thessalonica YMCA camp located near the town of St. Nicholas in Chalkidhiki, Greece. Besides the host Greece, this camp also included participants from other countries from the other Balkan YMCAs. Great experience!

The beginnings of YMCA Bitola are connected exactly with the healthy lifestyle program. After the period focusing on arts and culture, from the middle of the 2009 we have begun with renewal of this program through organizing: hiking and biking excursions, table tennis tournaments, promotion of the healthy living habits etc.

This is the official song festival song of the YMCA Europe festival in Prague 2008 which was organized by the motto "Real Life".
Following the success of the previous great festival of YMCA Europe in Prague 2003, in august 2008 also in Prague happened another great festival. The festival motto was "Real Life". Lots of activities, workshops, concerts, performances, shows etc. happened.

Like every year, so in 2009 in the period 11-22 August in Nymfeo, Greece was held the sixth edition of the Balkan Camp which was one of the most amazing ones. The camp was attended by young people from YMCAs from most Balkan countries and Spain as well. The gains from this camp are numerous: new experiences and knowledge, creativity and imagination, communication skills, dealing with conflicts, practical exercises, and the most important - new friendships, socializing and fun.

The fifth Balkan Camp in Nymfeo, Greece in 2008 was held in the period 10-21 August. This year for first time the participants were from the Balkan countries, but also from Malta and Spain. Beside participants, YMCA Bitola every year sends and escort of the group and trainers in the international team of the camp... This year for first time it was held the Balkan Marathon with length about 5 km…

In May, 2008 in Baia Mare, Romania youth exchange happened on which young people from many countries from Europe participated and where rich and interesting cultural connection was created. It aims at mobilizing young Europeans' potential and at fostering their active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance by supporting a large variety of youth projects and activities. The ultimate goal is to provide an increasing number of young people with the unique chance to get involved in highly enriching, non-formal learning experiences.

In 2008 it was held the theatrical play named as “Play Against Discrimination” performed from about 40 young people from several European countries and Macedonia. The main purpose of the play was raising public awareness in Bitola on the problem of discrimination from all kinds. The show went nice even though nobody from the actors hadn't any acting or theater experience until then. The play was part of the youth exchange organized by Together Macedonia and Y-Movie was responsible for documenting this project and making a DVD that is used as a tool for education in the next projects on theme discrimination.

New edition of the Balkan Camp!
1500 m above sea level, participants from several Balkan countries, team work with youth leaders from Balkans, new knowledge about the programs for empowering European youth projects, 12 km mountain hiking with outdoor sleep, adventure, fun, visit of other unusual places outside the Nymfeo camp such as: the Nymfeo sights, other local places of interest, Arcturos center for for protection and nurture of the bears, then visit of the tombs of the ancient Macedonian kings Philip II and Alexander IV, visit of Thessaloniki and the activities of YMCA in the YMCA center.

In August 2003 happened a great event celebrating the 30th anniversary of YMCA Europe. For that occasion in August in Prague, Czech Republic a one week Festival was organized including almost 8.000 YMCA members mostly from Europe, but also guests from other parts of the world.
The motto of the Festival was "Inspired to Serve". The volunteers from YMCA Macedonia were also part of that event for first time.

We introduce you the YMCA Thessaloniki camp in Nymfeo! Every summer this camp is attended by lots of campers distributed in few shifts. In 2002 on invitation of YMCA Greece and common initiative from YMCA Macedonia and YMCA Greece the youth camp in Nymfeo was held. The camp had typical camp activities full of adventure, joy, fun, interesting activities and of course, bonfire. Since 2002 the cooperation has continued and the camp continue organizing with wider participation from all the Balkan countries where YMCA works.
In 2006 thanks to Y-Movie we have succeeded to document this adventure. Enjoy the show!

In the six days of The Balkan Program Festival in 2005 in Ohrid, the pieces of the mosaic joined together. The representatives of the Balkan YMCAs and the guests, representatives of other US and European YMCAs worked together for improving the picture of the mosaic on the Balkan.
11 workshops, 10 focus groups, 6 sports and the 138 people were the four main pillars of this event.

The work on "Almost Unreal" took about 2 months. In that period during the recording of the movie and work on the complete project many funny situations happened on which we can only laugh after the completing the whole job.

"Almost Unreal" is the first experimental project realized in the summer 2005 by couple of young talented artists from YMCA Bitola which later on formed the Y-Movie program of YMCA Bitola. It presents aspects of our everyday life in a metaphorical approach.
