Youth in Action is the EU program for all young people. It aims at mobilizing young Europeans' potential and at fostering their active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance by supporting a large variety of youth projects and activities. The ultimate goal is to provide an increasing number of young people with the unique chance to get involved in highly enriching, non-formal learning experiences.
Youth in Action is also for you: Be a part of it!
It is our pleasure to share with you YMCA Bitola’s first Strategic Plan built for the period 2010-2013.
We named this plan “Inventing the Future” because for first time since our formation we are strongly committed to the future. Until now we were reflecting only on the past, summarizing it in quarterly newsletters and in annual reports. Now, for first time we are looking into the future and designing YMCA Bitola activities according the needs of our community where we belong.
We invite all of you to join us in the coming period in setting a strong foundation and let’s invent the future together!
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain
The objective of Action Plan for implementation of National Youth Strategy is to ensure systematic, focused and overall action of the participants in the youth field of the R.Macedonia. The Action Plan involves four segments (as defined with National Youth Strategy) or eight fields of priority: education, youth self-employment, quality of life, health and prevention, culture, youth informing, local youth work and youth participation.
This Plan is intended for the Government of the R.Macedonia as well as for all of the remaining contributors embraced with the detailed Action Plans (youth organizations, organizations dealing with gender issues, ministries, agencies etc.), and the potential donors whose activities are in accordance with this Plan. The subject responsible for implementing the Plan is Agency for Youth and Sport.
Young people are able to assume responsibility for their own lives and make decisions on all issues pertaining to them, at all levels. The development and strengthening of the civil society, voluntary and social associations are an indispensable step in the promotion of responsible citizenship and a guarantee of democracy. This capacity needs to be allowed the true form of expression with youth associations and activities undertaken by them playing the central role.
The objective of the preparation of this Guide is to explain to the current and future volunteers the content of the Law, to give answer to the most frequently asked questions related to current application of the Law, clarification of certain dilemmas, and thus to assist in the implementation of the Law, which should help promoting and recognizing the volunteering in the Republic of Macedonia.
This is the official manual prepared by the Public Revenue Office of R.Macedonia which is made for everyone who want to use the possibilities given by the law for donations and sponsorships of R.Macedonia.
